Time is running out for community groups to apply for 2015/2016 financial year funding available through the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund (CCF) and Junior Climate Challenge Fund (JCCF).
The CCF is a Scottish Government programme, managed and developed by environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful and provides funding for community groups to tackle climate change. Grants are available to support community-led projects that reduce local carbon emissions, make community improvements and help communities cope with the impacts of climate change.
The CCF supports project activities including those highlighted in our information leaflet on the left. Please click on the image or here for further details.
Grants up to £150,000 per project are available for community groups to run one year projects that plan to commence activities in April 2015. Keep Scotland Beautiful encourages community groups interested in developing an application in time for the December 2014 Grant Panel to submit an Expression of Interest now. Further grant panels will take place in 2015 only if funds remain after the December 2014 Grant Panel.
The latest CCF newsletter from Keep Scotland Beautiful is now live on the CCF website and includes links to a funding FAQ. Please  contact Keep Scotland Beautiful for further assistance.

Keep Scotland Beautiful, Scotland’s national environmental charity, has been shortlisted as the potential charity partner for Tesco’s carrier bag money in Scotland. (The charge becomes enforceable in Scotland from October of this year)
Tesco is conducting a public vote through their website on the charity that should benefit from their bag levy proceeds in Scotland - and Keep Scotland Beautiful is the only Scottish charity to make the final shortlist. Up to £1m is up for grabs and it will go to the organisation that polls the most votes, so Keep Scotland Beautiful is calling on its friends and contacts from all over Scotland to support its bid for the funds.
Please help us win the vote: vote for Keep Scotland Beautiful at www.tescoplc.com/bagyourvote
The vote is open until Friday 22nd August.
