With the rapidly changing situation regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the effect on individuals and communities, we thought it would be helpful to point people in the direction of support and ideas for community responses to COVID-19.

In particular, we are keen to share any helpful community development approaches, as our sector has a lot of experience working with communities in difficult circumstances.

CAF Coronavirus Emergency Fund

CAF logoThe Charities Aid Foundation has launched this rapid response Fund to help smaller charitable organisations affected by the impact of Covid-19. Grants of up to £10,000 will help them to continue to deliver much needed support to our communities across the UK.

Response Recovery Resilience

The RRR Fund is supporting local charities and grassroots organisations across Scotland to help them respond to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic and recover from its impact. Funding is available between £1,000 and £5,000– focussed on immediate community needs.
