How to show you help tackle health inequalities
March 13, 2020
This new resource helps community organisations show how they contribute to tackling health inequalities - something that is often useful when making a case for funding and with decision makers.
This resource is aimed at third sector organisations and those who fund or commission third sector organisations seeking to understand how the sector contributes to tackling health inequalities.
This resource seeks to help third sector organisations and those who fund or commission third sector organisations to understand:
- What contribution do third sector organisations make to tackling health inequalities?
- What is the value of the third sector’s interventions which aren’t necessarily “health” focused but help to contribute to positive health for those experiencing inequality?
It contains useful guides, models and templates to help you explain and measure your contribution.
This work was funded by NHS Health Scotland, which ESS developed in collaboration with various third sector organisations.
