New resource available - Evidence for Success: Collaborating with academics
March 23, 2016
A new guide has been produced for anyone in the third sector who wants to link to academics to generate and/or use evidence to improve policy and practice.
Evidence for Success: Collaborating with academics, provides practical guidance and resources for third sector organisations to set up effective links with academics. It is divided into three parts:
- Making your collaboration count
- Top tips for finding the right academic for your collaboration
- Resources
The guide was produced by the Knowledge Translation Network (KTN), which CHEX is a member of along with Evaluation Support Scotland, The Robertson Trust, Big Lottery Fund, Centre for Research on Families and Relationships (CRFR), Carnegie UK Trust and the Scottish Government. The KTN aims to facilitate and share learning about effective knowledge translation and dissemination activities, running in parallel to the Scottish Third Sector Research Forum, a collaborative initiative to champion the use of evidence from the third sector.
