Wellbeing for Longer in Glasgow Fund 2017-18
November 3, 2017
Voluntary Action Fund (VAF) is now inviting applications to this new fund from Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership to tackle social isolation and sustain the well-being of vulnerable Glasgow City Council residents.
Third sector organisations with an annual income of under £250,000 (see criteria for further detail) are being urged to apply to the Fund. They can apply for up to £30,000 to carry out activities over a 12-month period that will help to build connectedness and make a real difference to the quality of life for some of the most vulnerable adults in Glasgow.
The outcomes for the Wellbeing for Longer in Glasgow Fund are to:
- Address health inequalities and improve health
- Improve social inclusion, enabling residents who are isolated to be more connected
Priority will be given to projects working with adults with multiple complex health needs/barriers which contribute to isolation including physical, sensory and mental health barriers.
Applications should be submitted using the online application form by Friday 01 December 2017.
Please see VAF's website for further information about the fund and how to apply: http://www.voluntaryactionfund.org.uk/funding-and-support/.
