Action research in Ardler

This Demonstrating the Links project set out to understand how the residents of Ardler value and use new urban greenspace created by regeneration.


Dundee right on track!

Dundee Partnership was supported by SCDC's Commonwealth Games Legacy for Communities Programme to progress the partnership's existing engagement around a Games legacy.


Get-set-go at Glasgow's Kelvinhall!

Central and West Integration Network (CWIN) was supported by Scottish Community Development Centre to engage BME communities in around their hopes and aspirations  for the 2014 Commonwealth Games.


Improving access in Argyll

Argyll Activities was supported by Scottish Community Development Centre to engage with sports clubs and the disabled community to find out what sporting activities disabled people were able to take part in and what barriers existed to taking part.


Neilston Development Trust

Neilston Development Trust used community-led action research to find out how a local asset, Cowden Hall Estate, could be developed to support wider use and access to nature. 


Portobello Community Council

This case study highlights Portobello Community Council's community engagement process which has been commended by Scottish Community Development Centre as "exemplifying the very best practice" in community engagement.


Recreation and renewal in Cowie

Cowie Rural Action Group (CRAG) used the Commonwealth Games and its legacy as a tool to engage the local community around issues such as improving the village and providing more activities for young people.
