Case studies - showing your impact

It isn't always easy to know how to go about showing the impact of the work your community group does.  Therefore, you may wish to hear about how other communtiy groups have done this and, in particular, how they have planned their work and measured progress.  The following case studies should be a good starting point.

This case study shows how GAIN, a community organisation working with young people in the Isle of Lewis, evaluates its work to demonstrate impact and improve future provision.

The Hidden Gardens

The Hidden Gardens in Glasgow's South Side used the LEAP planning and evaluation tool to help collect information on what had been effective in improving poor or degraded urban environments.

Healthy Valleys

Healthy Valleys, a community-led health organisation in South Lanarkshire, has successfully implemented an evaluation method called Family Impact Star to gather evidence of the impact of their Grassroots Project which supports pregnant women and families with children under five years old.
