Comhairle nan Eilean Siar pledges to:

Challenge ourselves to increase the positive impact we make on our local community and make better use of our assets – our buildings/grounds and our people.

In the next six months we will do at least three things that we don’t do at the moment to improve our social impact.

1st Commitment

Establish at least 15 new apprenticeship opportunities during 2016/17 covering the Employability Fund and Modern Apprenticeships through to graduate level qualifications with professional registration

Progress Public Sector Governance and Local Democracy in Education and Children's Services through Community Signature during 2016/17 using participatory budgeting to inform budget priorities from 2017/18.
