Disclosure Scotland pledges to:

Challenge ourselves to increase the positive impact we make on our local community and make better use of our assets – our buildings/grounds and our people.

In the next six months we will do at least three things that we don’t do at the moment to improve our social impact.

1st Commitment

Disclosure Scotland will commit to enabling and encouraging staff to support and engage with the local community by volunteering with Turning Point Scotland, sharing expert skills and knowledge with Turning Point service users to support them to re-enter the workplace and supporting the TPS Connects service to give people a purpose and fulfilment beyond receiving support.

2nd Commitment

We will continue to develop and expand our corporate fundraising activities in the coming year, for local charities, such as Blue Triangle Leven Care. We will develop a schedule of fundraising events, which will inspire a culture of continuous community engagement throughout the organisation.

3rd Commitment

Disclosure Scotland will commit to supporting local environmental initiatives in Glasgow by encouraging staff to undertake community garden or woodland conservation volunteering with Urban Roots.
