Acharacle Community Company

Acharacle Community Company is a small not for profit organisation which was originally formed in 2001 in order to save the local Post Office from Closure. The Community Company operates through the Acharacle Community Centre located in the heart of Acharacle.

It is a constituted body which is made up of over 70 members and a board of 5 directors. The members and directors can be anybody over the age of 18 who live in the Acharacle area. 

Since 2001, the company started and continues to run various projects. The Re-use Project to name one, started in 2007 which involves recycling anything from furniture to bric a brac which is solely run by volunteers with support from the board of directors.

Alongside these projects the Company are always busy organising events such as dances, Whist nights and family woodland days.
