Auchenback Active - East Renfrewshire

Auchenback Active Limited is a community-led organisation which manages the Resource Centre (ARC) in Auchenback.  The organisation has a focus on health, safety and education and wishes to develop a greater community spirit within Auchenback by bringing local people together to identify issues which are important to them.

The Centre provides community space for various local projects, a signposting service and a café managed by local volunteers.

Some of the activities and groups which are supported by the Centre include: computer classes; dance groups; arts classes and a young mums group.  Auchenback Active volunteers also put on large events for the community in the summer and winter months.
