Beith Community Development Trust - North Ayrshire

Beith Community Development Trust was formed in order to enable the redevelopment of Beith Astro from its neglected state into a a state of the art full-size synthetic football pitch accompanied by six modern changing pavilions.  However, the work does not stop there!

A community owned and led organisation, BCDT resulted from clubs, groups and teams rallying together around exploring the feasibility of community ownership of the sporting facilities in Beith.  Beith CDT in build up to T in the Pitch music festival

Beith Astro is the Trust's biggest and most fundamental enabling project to date.  More widely, BCDT aims to improve the mental and physical fitness of the community through regeneration and enabling of possibilities within Beith.

Projects include: Pop-Up Beith, a temporary establishment on Beith's Main Street, providing joy and entertainment over the festive season; BiRecycle, a regular bike recycling club; and Band Factory, where aspiring musicians can get together and play music, including live performances, with others.
