Maryhill Mini Multis Residents Association - Glasgow

The Maryhill Mini Multis Residents Association is a voluntary residents association representing the interests of people living in the 12 ‘T84’ or mini multi tower blocks in North Maryhill.

Plans for community spaceThe group has successfully received nearly £250,000 of BIG Lottery funding to create a new community space by Ledgowan Hall including play area and community gardens.  The new community space adjacent to the Ledgowan Hall will feature:

  • New play areas and opportunities for young people.
  • Landscaping of the area with seating, and a community garden.
  • Raised beds for locals to grow fruit and vegetables along with appealing areas to walk.
  • A heather garden.

This space is designed to breathe life into this community, providing much needed facilities for all people of all ages. The Association, which meets regularly with staff from Maryhill Housing Association, is also pressing for landscaping improvements to the estate and improvements to the foyers of the flats.
