Thrumster Park Regeneration Fund - Caithness

Thrumster Park Regeneration Fund (TPRF) was set up in response to the need to upgrade and replace old and dangerous play equipment in the local park.

The group, based in Thrumster, Caithness, worked in partnership with Highland Council to drain the grounds and also put £45k worth of new play equipment into the park.  TPRF is now raising funds to provide a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) in the village.

The project has been also been working to address dilapidated and poorly maintained children’s play facilities. The development of the tennis courts will enable many children attending the local school to have the continued use of this valuable asset both within school time and in the evenings and weekend.
