Promoting volunteering via the Social Impact Pledge

We’re asking organisations from all sectors to commit to using the Social Impact Pledge to grow and promote volunteering, in addition to other activities to increase positive social impact.

The Social Impact Pledge is about simple ways that organisations can make a difference to communities.

Be inspired…

Here are some examples of how organisations have already used the Social Impact Pledge to make commitments to support and grow volunteering:

Social Security Scotland committed to “support Social Security Scotland colleagues to volunteer with local organisations and charities.”

Revenue Scotland pledged to “Proactively support the use of volunteering days by our staff, totalling 50 working days for local community or charity projects in the areas in which they live or work”

Highlands and Islands Enterprise committed to build on their existing volunteering leave commitment by promoting this to staff and analysing impact.
