Community-led action plans
/Community-led action plans are a way for communities to take the lead in understanding how they feel about where they live, helping to inform good decision making and better support for communities.
Community action planning is a shared process across communities. It involves a careful, planned approach to:
gathering and reflecting community priorities
good quality community engagement with as many local people as possible reflecting different experiences of living locally
agreeing on priorities across the community and between communities and agencies
action to achieve beneficial outcomes, turning local priorities into new projects, facilities and improved services.
