Home Energy Scotland

Home Energy Scotland offers free, impartial advice on energy saving, keeping warm at home, renewable energy, greener travel, cutting water waste and more. They also work with community groups that are tackling climate change through local community-led projects where the aim is to reduce energy use and encourage behaviour change within the community.

Some examples of how Home Energy Scotland can work with your group include:

  • helping you plan and deliver local energy advice services that engage householders to support uptake of energy saving home improvements, low carbon heating systems and renewable technologies

  • offering project development advice

  • signposting you to funding and providing feedback on draft applications, letters of support where relevant and ongoing partnership

  • supporting projects that help to tackle fuel poverty and can provide you with access to our secure online referral portal.

  • adding an extra element to your event or gathering, such as providing an advice stand, a speaker or an energy advice surgery to help attendees save energy and money. This can include online events and webinars.
